  5. Yes, the Korean Peninsula is very cold in winter. Pyongyang in January is as Helsinki, and Seoul as Stockholm. Seoul has latitude corresponding to 37ºN, as Seville (Spain)!!! Right now Seoul -14ºC

The lowest temperature ever in Sofia was -31ºC versus - 32ºC in Stockholm. Almost the same. There are people in this forum that ignores what the climate of Eastern Europe is.

  10. You are partially wrong. Sofia is warmer than Stockholm but is colder than Braemar. JANUARY AVERAGES 1961-1990 Braemar 0.7ºC (from Metoffice) Sofia -1.3ºC (from WMO) Stockholm -3ºC (from WMO) December and February is the same.
