I would be happy with anything more than the one snow event we got here in 11/12 , I would happily take a mix of 09/10 and 10/11 but know that is unlikely to happen.

I feel the cold easily and have manged to just have it on in the morning for an hour, to get the house a more bareable 20c then at 5pm comes on for an hour too .

Think the time has come for the trusty flask to join me at work ! brrrr a chilly +1.3c at 6.50 this morning . I know its premature but getting very excited that we could see some of the white stuff in as little as 6/7 weeks ( if we are lucky)

ahhh and what a delight that would be if it were to come true. I have to agree that there were too many close calls last winter that didn't quite happen ( not in West Yorkshire anyway) for me to think of winter 11/12 as anything but a let down .

Oooh these new images do get me excited!! Only 8 weeks until the clocks change , hoping for a nip in the air by then

I havent done a late shift at work ( 9pm finish ) in a while and did one last night . I did certainly notice a difference.

WE have had lots of the little tinkers at the moment !! I am looking forward to about 8 weeks time when fingers crossed there will be a lovely nip in the air starting !

ahhh well think that is that for winter 11/12 even after last week still feels a let down Looking forward to Summer now and then hopefuly a winter to make up for this one , although im in Florida for the first two weeks of Dec so odds are on that we get a dumping while I am away ha !!
