  1. What does he know anyway, he's from the South Pole
  2. I think the problem there is that the media tends to be quite biased towards the South-East, we've seen it on this board too. If those in Kent don't get snow then the winter is a wash-out even if the North is under three feet of the stuff

  8. If you have tried everything else then Sodium Chlorate really is the only option. I assume you won't want to be growing anything else on the site for quite a while?

    Bomb Attacks

Oh hun, poor you *hug* you have to give these things time, your nerves are bound to still be on edge. I think you are incredibly brave and things will get better I am sure. xx
  13. Good for you mate! Move on. No Regrets!
  14. Sounds like it's lacking some sort of nutrient matey. are you on chalky soil? If so you need to add some peat into the soil around the plant
  15. The trouble with the supermarket herbs is that they will often have been forced. I think Basil is an annual so you'd have to replace it each year. If you want to plant some up, try chives, a bulb which should grow fairly well and mint. Mint is as tough as old boots. Rosemary is one of my favourite herbs too. I have a herb garden which I never water and its thriving on neglect.
  16. Cloudy but bright Very Breezy 16c
  17. After a gorgeous but windy afternoon it has now clouded over and looks like rain.
  18. It's all cloudy now, boo hiss. But it is still quite bright  oooh hang on there must be a gap somewhere, the sun has just come out!
  19. I remember gales in Devon one year and the tent nearly blew away, probably round 1985 ish I also remember walking home from school with a mate and a tree branch blew straight between our heads then when I got home the chimney was on the path outside my house, would that be '87 cos I'd be about twelve. Also Autumn 2000 we had gales because we were having a loft conversion done and part off the roof was off.
  20. Thunderstorm just broken out here.
