    Surprise! Surprise! - last nights reported hard frost has completely dissapeared this morning :o Currently thin cloud, hazy sunshine and gentlest of breeze. Temp 2ºC.

    Clear skies and nice deep frost here tonight - should be very white in the morning. Seems to be shaping up for a much colder w/end and next week as predicted on here.

    Bright & Sunny. Light breeze, snow all gone. 2°C but feels a lot warmer in the sun. Almost an English summers day

    Not a lot of overnight snow - only a very light dusting But now snowing quite significantly now should settle if it keeps up

    Started snowing again, this time it is settling nicely Very heavy for a time, now just gentle.

    Rain has now given way to snow, quite large flakes but ground very wet of course so not settling yet

    Recent 'snizzle' has changed to a much heavier snow fall for the last 10 mins - now starting to settle but needs to be maintained for some time to be effective

    Snowing everso lightly - cloud looks to be thinning. Very little overnight snow (midnight onwards) if any. What has fallen has stuck for a change :unsure: Temp -1°C

    Here we go again - another heavy snow shower just come in from the North Sea. Gone very dark, visibilty dropping rapidly. Temperature appears to have fallen pror to the shower, hope it sticks this time

    Changed my view of last post - an absolute blizzard on strong wind at the momen, total white out visibility very poor - long may it last

    4th snow shower of the day - winds have strengthend again with the snow but snow fall lighter this time, nothing laying.

    Just been hit by another (3rd today) heavy snow shower (I say shower because it probably won't last!) blizzard type conditions in the strong wind accompying it :huh:

    Nice snow shower at the moment on a very stiff wind But the sun will be back out shortly by the looks of it :o

    Sun breaking through now - snow quickly melting . Quite windy Temp around zero. Hopefully the calm before the next snow storm. Wow, did like the Thundersnow last night - that was quite an unexpected shock :o

    Just had a burst of ThunderSnow!!! Nice flash of lightening and rumble whilst snowing quite hard! First time ever for me

    Well, surprise suprise , it's started snowing here again and quite heavily - now have a good cover on roads and cars etc - long may it continue

    Snowing again here now - looks like the band of cloud I referred to on the radar on the northern edge of the low coming from Holland has reached S. Essex and Kent .     Snowing heavily here (2nd time today) flakes not pellets :huh: Gone very dark looks like quite a bit to fall this time. Should stay longer if significant as temp has now dropped and sun gone down :lol: :lol: :lol: :o Short and sweet I am afraid - looked promising but quickley died down :huh: Not as good as this afternoons event :huh:

    Extremely dark to the east of me - not seen anything like that to date Looks like the start of something, hope it's snow not rain!!! Follow up Had a nice blizzard 20 mins ago from those very dark skies mainly snow pellets . Good covering on the roads and cars but quickly melted

    First snow of the day here , only a light shower not expecting it to last too long as quite bright out to sea (East) :unsure: Not settling, stopping as I type :o :o

    Dull, overcast 1°C, very very light breeze. No sign of any frost or snow.
