    Interesting , i thought Glasgow got 30c last July and in 2003 and 2006 , maybe i was thinking of some other place ! Last August towards the end of the month had a hot day , ususual to have a hot August day now.

    Got soaked in a shower walking home , been a long time since that has happend. Thought it would feel cooler, still a bit of warmth. In other news noticed wasps going in under the window cill of bedroom window. House is timber frame, worried that the wasps will eat through the interior plasterboard , that could be fatal . I take it best course is to ring up council?

    To me end of May and June are the height of summer. The look today of the sky and sun refecting of the cars etc , has the look of the hottest days

    Never seem to get a dry day in Glasgow , cant remember the last one.

    We had two hot days in summer 2019. 25th July and the last weekend in August. This winter has been boring , not a flake of snow yet.

    Think where i stayed we had more snow in the 2010 spell . Did have colder temperatures in 2010 spell than 2018. But amazing snow on the Clyde.

    Yeah , last September was not too good either. When there was heat it was short lived

    Storm was north of EK , seemed to head East . Weather has been in a strange rut . Walking to work has been Russian Roulette with the rain at 5 to 6pm . Plus the humidity , back of my head sweats .

    Yes , always find it odd that the English schools are still in during most of July . Yes usually in Scotland better weather start of summer , after the last week of July , tends to slip .

    Yesterday was still and humid, started to drizzle when walking to work . Not ideal conditions as sweating ! Plenty of midges at night on the walk home.

    Is the summer really boring then for the cold lovers ? Not a fan of this weather , Jackets need to be taken off as soon as you step in a building !

    Joint warmest day since 27th July , rather cold August and September eh? Remember the 20c in 2005 , was at the end of October . Been a wet autumn , hoping for more sunshine

    To me been the poorest month of the summer for a long time now , i prefer early summer . Even September can be a lot better . In england and Europe its more a holiday month . I think early August has the highest average temperatures though.

    Seemed Humid today in Glasgow . August so far has been a cloudier affair but goes to show how good it has been .

    Yeah , noticed that , no good when your walking to work as im sweating when i start . Rain yesterday was first in a month ive experienced at home and first since 26th June when i had rain on holiday.
