    That would explain why It was so loud I work on Stafford park which is 5 mins up the road from town.

    Its not often that I here thunder at work because its so noisy but that was one loud rumble about 10 mins ago! Can here the rain on the roof too. Typicall i'm at work and it kicks off lol!!

    Well I don’t think we did as well as other parts of the west Midlands there was 3 very close strikes but I have to say it was not LOUD loud not one of the close strikes shook the windows. The rain was not that heavy either I saw reports of torrential rain but it was just moderate here. Still it was my sons 1st thunderstorm hoping for some more later so I can film as it proved impossible with a 13 month old grabbing everything you have lol!!

    I agree conor, we are up there as one of the stormless places in the uk, gone are the times of getting storms that lasted hours into the evening or getting woken up at 2am by distant rumbles then watching the sky explode. These days we just get showers that suddenly explode into life when they have gone past or they just fizzle out to plain rain when they get here!!

    Well its really bright and kind of makes you feel warm. But that's all I can say on the object because it keeps going behind clouds....

    Your right conor! Storms either fizzle out before get here then go boom as soon as they have passed or bounce of the Shropshire storm shield and go west or east lol!!

    Well that big gap has Telfords name all over it getting really fed up now think I need a new hobby cause storm loving and living in Shropshire is just a waste of time!!

    Took this picture about 10 mins ago in my back garden. Though I heard thunder but it was somebody moving a wheely bin lol!!

    Think that's our lot for this neck of the woods. Brighter skies approaching from the south now. Been a bit of a let down the last 2 days to be honest, its not too much to ask to see a storm is it?! Plenty more days to come and im sure there will be a few frustrating ones but i am hopeful of seeing 1 storm this year even if I have to watch it on youtube haha!! Yep the app on my phone said activity 15km away.... arrrggghhhh!

    Very Jealous of you guys with the storms all we had in Telford was some heavy rain and a couple of rumbles of distant thunder not seen any lightning. If we get nothing storm wise this week i swear there is something very wrong with this region when it comes to storms. Shropshire is very unlucky!

    Well had a couple of rumbles the wind picked up and it chucked it down... that was it. Hoping for some fireworks later!
