This is always a good radar site to use http://www.raintoday.co.uk/. Find it very acuarte and helpful. For the week ahead I see it turning much colder as the week goes by. This much is nailed on now.Its what happens from next weekend that is still up for grabs. My gut feeling is that the atlantic will try to fight back which could produce battleground situations for us in our area and also the west. If the cold air does win out which is a very strong possibility we could see a very wintry month but that would come at a cost with a lot of disruption.
Back to this week I dont think we will see too much snow until Thursday. That is when it could get going with lots of showers packing in from the north sea with battleground chances aswel. Luckily Im off work Thursday through to Monday as Im laminating the living room so dont have to drive. Good luck to you all
