    Interestingly as the storm moved away to the north it decayed whilst merging with the showers that backbuilt from it over Derby and Notts. So now we have heavy rain again and occasional rumbles of thunder. The clouds have mated together to keep us in the storm

    It was as intense as it looks! 4 rumbles of thunder so far. Last two within the last two minutes, a little more frequent than the first two. Sun is out now here.

    Big crack of thunder just now here after the storm has passed. Dronfield, South Yorkshire

    Well that was unexpected. Nothing of real interest on the radar, but dark skies and a humid/moist feel encouraged me. The last 10 minutes here has seen a barrage of torrential convective rain and hail, turning the streets into rivers. Awesome Dronfield, South Yorkshire
