  2. Well i'm on the downs 160m, high enough elevation for some white stuff current temps at 3C so we shall see in about 30minutes when this rain bands pushes further inland as you can see here, CRAP sorry my links died MEHHH The cold air is pooling down from north just as quick as the rain band moves in, http://www.raintoday.co.uk/ conditions maybe perfect in a short wile as it bumps into the rain band, Pressure dropped of some more to 996mb

  5. Dropped from 6c - 4c here in Luton in the past hour, not to far of the mark now, similar temps all over England right now & dropping, looks like the showers are on a North East tracking, http://www.raintoday.co.uk/ That cloud is rather rather large too alot of potential for a good few CM tonight, especially over the downs
  6. Ok my thoughts on what "may" happen, Yesterdays decaying LP is moving out the way clearing the way for this thing to swing more north, and since that's what they like to do and it did do in, cough cough... 87, it may well just do that, i think that maybe how the MetO ended up with its second option based on what these other systems did?, Mondays is still pushing north up along the coast of Norway giving yesterdays more room, a LP just below Iceland is keeping tonights LP from tracking to far north, but that is also moving out the way and steering/directing it, Yesterdays LP is throwing the head of this cloud mass south over Spain, thats not the direction it will travel in its just because yesterdays LP is still in the way, i think it all depends on whether that gap opens, allowing this thing to charge through a more north direction as in 87, So something like this maybe? apologies for my poor paint skills hehe Of course i'm not an expert, that's just my observation of things as they stand atm minute,
  7. Hi Guys & Gals I've been following these past 4 threads since this discussion began now, i thought id stop lurking & sign up, LOL I think this is possibly the most informative weather forum online, UK, you guys are very knowledgeable and have been spot on with the past events, i think i'll stick around here, thank you! Ok so i have been following this incoming storm for nearly two weeks now, i must say, ive never know or seen so much confusion i still don't think the path of this storm has been nailed yet, there are so many thing that could change the outcome of this storm in a matter of hours, i still think the possible northern track, "MetO 2nd option" could very well happen, should the jet stream suddenly change which it is prone to do, then we could potentially see this thing swing north, Should the decaying low that has recently come in from north to then sweep in over the south of england last night keep traveling south, with the HP over Spain, with Monday/Tuesdays moving back North out to over Iceland... Is it possible this thing could be pushed north as it moves past last night LP & the HP over Spain? I just don't see this think on the train tracks ramming into Northern France, Something like this perhaps?
