    nothing coming down in east yorkshire and the radar as been showing rain/snow for last hour

    i do drive but dont have anywhere to go for next few days as am on holiday. the thing with driving in ice is go slow be careful no problem at all, drive like a fool and and to fast thats when problems begin.

    yeah i know it can lead to problems in big ice storms that one in canda was very extreme and lasted for weeks we will get 24hrs at the most so we would just get the nice coating on everything and slippery surfaces. cant imaging it causing power lines to come down as it needs to be heavier and longer lasting does'nt it?

    ah thanks for that reef so the radar cant really be relied on for where its going to be wet. it just gives us clues as to what might happen like i said earlier just stick to looking out the window today i think so anyone in here actually getting anything falling out the sky at the moment

    radars are showing big clitches at 8.00 and at 8.15 big parts of misture disappear and reappear not sure how to post the pictures sorry

    difficult to watch the radar when its not giving correct information. the radar just had a band of moisture over east yorkshire and still does but its bone dry here so radar cant be trusted

    maybe a radar clitch?

    none at all which is odd the radar says rain or snow but its as dry as a bone here in hull. think i will just look out the window and see what happens

    well according to the bbc forecast thats just been on bbc1 east yorkshire isnt going to get any rain or snow i really hope its wrong. edit look north just said its still on for snow no wonder people complain about forecasts always been wrong when on the same channel within five minutes one says no rain or snow and the other ones says lots of it!

    hulls finally getting a decent amount of snow now main roads are getting a snow cover and i am smiling at least we can say we have had some this winter. maybe more next week. fingers crossed for that

    got a temp of 1.2 and its falling and a dew point of -4.2 i east hull

    someone said that it said zero for there area the other day but they had a couple of inches so dont think its very acurate, so yeah think best thing to do just wait and see what falls out of the skys. fingers very crossed for everyone. whats the betting even if we do get a lot of snow all the news will be about london if there get a few cm.

    that chart looks great. started my holidays today so got all week to enjoy anything it can throw at us. lets hope today and next week makes up for such a mild winter so far says that for hull as well. do netweather use the gfs charts for there snow forecast. if there do this could explain the low percentage

    excited a lot today. the sun as been out all morning it just looks to calm and to quite for the chaos thats on the way. really hope hull gets some snow it usually rains here when there say snow so fingers crossed .
