7°C towards Cornwall. Not looking good. Temps are rising to fast
Forecasters say 5-10cm (up to 4in) will fall in central, eastern and south-east England, including London, with the heaviest falls expected after dusk.
The approaching band has really slowed down. I am not sure if this a good thing or not. I might make our area warn up to much but i dont know. Anyone got any thoughts on this?
Thought id go outside a feel the temps for myself and i have to say its still pretty cold here!! I can see my breath still. Thats always a good sign lol
I think the main band will hit dorset in roughly 2 hours. Looks like we may get some signs sooner than that. I expect to see a few flakes before the main band hits. The front edge could be snow but from the predicted temps it will fast turn to rain south of blandford anyone north of blandford have got a good chance of at least seeing some decent snow. :-(
Yes it does not look good at all for the south coast area, even tonights temps are saying 7 degrees, who knows maybe we will get some end of next week when the cold is set to return.
Met still predicting heavy rain south of blandford not looking good for the coastal regions. And that includes me here in bornemouth. Temp already rising fast!!
