Hello Guys & Girls,
First of all I just want to say a huge thank you to all of you for all the messages of support and the PM's you sent me, you are an ok bunch aren't you! So, thank you.
It has been a bumpy few weeks that's for sure, I came close to needing hospital treatment, we are both still off work recovering but hopefully past the worst of it now. It completely floored the both of us and apart from asthma we are pretty fit & healthy individuals, but the virus does not care about that.
The sooner the country gets vaccinated the better! I would not wish it on my worst enemy.
I hope you & your families have all managed to stay fit & well.
Now, off to view the charts to look at Wirral's next let down! Lol.
Current halfway score 1/10 (a couple hours of wet snow melting on impact manages a 1).
Take care all & it's good to be sitting here posting again!
Day 10.
Get well soon Day 10!

Met office has issued the warning for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday - up to 200mm of rain.
UK weather warnings
WWW.METOFFICE.GOV.UKMet Office UK weather warnings for rain, snow, wind, fog and ice. Choose your location to keep up to date with local weather warnings.I think weather systems that have tendency to dump big amounts of snow/rain deserves to be named. Just like systems producing very strong winds. It both could bring disruption and loss of life.

Looks like thats it for this cold spell. The cold spell is arn't that bad just had a few days with snowfalling, mostly light. I rate this 6/10.

It is sticking on the pavements here now.

Its getting darker now and the temperatures should be dropping to allow the snow to stick.

If this keeps up by nightfall it will stick no problem.

Snow is getting heavier too. Finally its here!!

The system seems to me its coming to life and the gaps is filled in according to radar.
-
The winds are picking up and its sleeting. (Ice pellets)

Only a dusting of snow here, less than last Saturday's snow. When I went to shop the wind is freezing!! I guessing about -4 windchill.
