I actually window watching, that means if theres no lampost is in sight I usually watch the rain/snow land on my window. You can tell how close the rain to snow.

started drizzling/snizzling here.
Just been to shop to get lottery for tomorrow and box of chocolates for tonight's snow and I can feel the drizzle/snizzle in my face.

Luckily mate, the 18Z has shifted the front Northwards, a lovely last minute correction for us NW'eners!
We also see some more energy on that northern flank, giving off some heavier precipitation for a time before it eventually does move away. So I would say your location is also looking rather snowy!
The 18Z GFS(P) has wintry showers around much of the region too on the 27th, all in all a wintry picture painted! And if we do miss the snow, we won't miss the frosts with temperatures looking likely to drop to -3/-4C for many, a tad lower over snowfields and countrysides!
Manchester is in that white, it's not too far north haha! Google map it!

As a Northerner, I'm dissapointed with the BBC weather forecast for the tomorrow's snow. It seems to me it will only affect Wales, S England. We would'nt get any white stuff at this rate, we may end up a damp squid.
The only hope is the today's models should shift the low a bit north, then bingo we get a good pasting!!
We only got 2 chances today for the models to shift the low abit north if people in Northern England wants snow badly like me. 12z and the 18z.

I just had plain old rain here, nothing too keen about it.
The models seems rubbish so far today showing a mild zonal train. Hopefully the next run will be more favourable for the cold.

My computer just soughted out now by updated it to windows 7. No more blue screens!!
Weatherwise it is going to be much colder after boxing day, If we lucky we may see surprise snow fall.

Can anyone tell me how to sought out the blue screen problem? I even tried to clean the computer but no luck. :-(

Sorry for not posting so much recently due to my computer keeps getting blue screens everytime I open the internet!!
I'm posting this on safe mode right now.Modelwise it is looking good at the end of the xmas week with an arctic blast on the way.
Edit: Got another blue screen now and its on safe mode too!!

Raining here now melting the frost, marking the end of the cold snap here.
On the models front, there is a few agreements that the cold returning by Xmas. I don't know whether it verify or not, its difinatly one to watch though.
The winter is coming, but it will hold for now.

Its frosty outside and no sign of any showers here. :-(
I'm done here for any wintry weather until after Xmas. Hopefully after Xmas.
