    It's been lovely to join the website and found BT forcasts to be the highlight so keep up the good work. I will be popping on in summer as storms are amazing.

    Sunny and breezy in st Helens. It was raining in Liverpool as I was leaving about an hour ago.

    It has been a very mild winter, it says a lot when you walk around Scotland in a t shirt in the middle of the coldest month. It looks like this cold spell will really only effect Scotland and here in st Helens will be sunny.

    The met app are showing good temps all week and today is glorious. When will this cold snap start?

    I have just spent the last two days in Edinburgh and its been very mild and generally lovely weather, it appears much colder now I am back in sunny st Helens.

    I said the same thing ages days ago that all snow we have is never Forcast correctly. I think people thought I wad mild ramping, but its so true.

    Okay just took dog for a walk around haydock and its raining but its freezing too, my phone had ice on it, ice in my hair and dog looks, well iced lol I doubt snow but ice tonight might be dangerous for some in my area.

    It's just shifted east the warnings during the day, we seem to just be out of the blob. It's raining here, some ice on fences. Nothing major just damp.

    Backtrack you're faith in cold and snow is admiral, but the truth is you will be bald if you follow the charts every time they say cold. Truth is in the main in most areas it never comes off. The last two events kinda good examples.

    Still drizzling in haydock st Helens, its cold outside and some ice has formed if not as much as forcasted.

    I walked the dog its really puddles, there is ice crystals formed on sheds, but everything else is rather wet.

    Met office are slightly random, Forcast heavy snow 12.00 onward for haydock, its currently a puddle fest outside.

    Liverpool airport forcasting was not that fantastic last week so maybe a pinch of salt on that one. In st helens, haydock its raining the normal kind and no ice to be seen.

    They have put on the warning that its a tricky situation for them to predict. so its just a cover their backs sort of warning in a just incase.

    I think its time to look to spring, I really don't feel any great cold snaps any time soon. I might be wrong but every chance fizzles quickly.

    I always say if nobody ramps it up then it will probably happen. Every Forcast for my area on an snow event have been wrong and every time we had an event its not been Forcasted. As for the here and now its blinking freezing in st Helens with ice still in the garden.

    Raining and much milder here in st Helens the ice is starting to melt to puddles.

    Update for st. Helens (haydock end) its raining and ice on the road. The rain isn't heavy and seems showery. I think the chances are now gone. I'll update if anything changes.

    I knew it was going to be a false event, they always are when the major weather people start talking and beating them up so early on. However i did expect at least some snow to start with to build a snowman, so far its just rain and ice. So have to wait until the next hype for my snowman... sad times

    I am in Haydock Tesco (live in Haydock) and its now raining, but we had a spell of an 20 min of pure white snow, was amazing, its white on the ground but its ice and miserableness, oh well we had a shot. tis over now..... lol
