Well if I ever had to do a forecast for the next few weeks this would b it, talk about sitting on the fence and giving every weather type a mention lol. That is not as good as it was a few days ago for the potential of heavy snow but let's c if we can get the cold in first and then c if any surprises turn up.

No rain forecast for here today and the driest of the weekend, well I can tell u it hasn't stopped raining all morning

Yes 9c here and felt a lot warmer in the sun but then the cloud rolled in about 3pm

Tbh I think it will b the same story as it's been all winter for us low lying areas, promise a snowy nirvana and deliver a cold water nirvana. It won't b very often u hear me say this but I hope it doesn't happen I'm ready for spring now

Personally I think they need to change this warning system, it should b yellow as advisory and then Amber and red as warning. If I c a warning notice, to me that says stay away (substation for example) danger to life, but a yellow warning as far as I can c is joke lately cos they just send them out for anything

Ye I know m8 and for wind but u tell me how these windspeeds on the coast warrant a weather warning?? We have these speeds in summer and no weather warnings r in place. Look how much rain is forecast for my area as well and again doesn't warrant a warning. Like I said a few pages ago the meto seem to like the limelight a lot lately

Get used to the dull and yuk cos that's all I c for the rest of this week and maybe a few snow flurries which will still make dull and yuk not a wintry nivarna

Cold and snow is what I want but dry cold would b just as Good or even dry for that matter. This rubbish we've been having lately is really starting to grip my sh## cos every weekend its raining

Another day and a weekend day with low single figure digits and rain, bring on the spring I've had enough of this winter now The cold rain is getting to me

I just looked in the mad thread and I can't believe how much hype is in there regarding the weather 10 days away. When will these people learn it's to far away for it to b correct and turn out like the models r suggesting

White here at mo hopefully it will snow for a few hours but I doubt it lol

Ye I've been less than impressed but not just the snow warnings even the wind and rain warnings have not even warranted being a warning. I think they just like being in the headlines of the news etc

Tbh I take these with a pinch of salt lately, we've had more warnings this winter than we have in the previous 10 winters and not once has the warning been worth it. These days a bit of wind, rain, snow flurry or frost and it's warning central!! I do think sometimes has forecasting actually advanced in the last 15 years

I don't make anything of it, no doubt it will change within the next few days. It's difficult enough to get right 2 days out let alone 2 weeks
