I can't quite see, somebody broke my lamp post. (also in Siston - hello neighbour!)

Just done a journey from BANES to S.Glos. You can literally see the standing water in the verges and the roads are quite flooded in places, at the moment some of the usual places but maybe slightly deeper than normal. Still raining quite heavy here on and off with more to come I can see on the radar.

There's already surface flooding in some parts of S. Glos on my way home tonight. All the drainage Rhines surrounding fields around here are full so I'm expecting some roads to be impassable on my way to work tomorrow. Quite worrying for many with more rain forecast. I'm just lucky I live far away enough from the nearby stream but I really feel for those waiting and watching nearby rivers very carefully.
I noticed the Frome was pretty high at Moorend (S.Glos near Winterbourne) this morning and I didn't think we had a huge amount of rain in the past 2/3 days so I can't imagine what its going to be like tomorrow.

The wind is very gusty here, I can see the lampposts swaying. Rain has not yet arrived.

Wind freaks me out. Currently in bed under the duvet listening to it throw things around my garden :-(
What time roughly will it leave Somerset?
After the main rain has gone through.
