    Popped out for a quick ciggie about 10 minutes ago, and saw a couple of flashes to the sw of here. No thunder heard, but the dog has just pricked his ears up and left his comfy bed to go into hiding behind the sofa so we could be in for something soon Completely bone dry when I first went out, and eerily quiet, then it was like someone turned a tap on!

    Well I definitely spoke too soon yesterday!! Very heavy rain here, and still hammering it down now. I don't have a rain gauge but I left a 1 litre jug outside that had some pre mixed dog shampoo in to the total of 400ml, and that is now overflowing. The swim to work could well be interesting. Now where did I put those arm bands? lol

    The rain started here at approx 1pm and hasn't stopped since, but nothing out of the ordinary considering all we have had this summer, and I use that word VERY loosely lol! The car thermometer read 10C 20 minutes ago. Not particularly windy, just like an average summers day in this neck of the woods

    I noticed a couple of weeks or so ago, finishing work at 8pm each night and needing the car headlights on. Not looking forward to the cold, wet dark winter nights at all
