A week today and I arrive. It's looking as if there is a general trend of low pressure out to the west and high to the east bringing up the moisture. While not perfect for a severe weather outbreak, it's not bad either. Bring it on! :-)
So in 6 months time tour 2 will be well under way. I have a feeling the time is really going to drag between now and May! Other than the staff, who else is going to be on tour 1?
I'm sure there'll be plenty for every tour. With El Nino having the effect on the world weather it is I reckon next year could be a bigee for every tour. Lets hope so anyway! :-)
Only 200 days? Great! Tour 1 for me this year. What do they say about the words early bird and worm? I hope that comes true, although doesn't quite go hand in hand with storm chasing I don't think! :-)
Good to see the streaming is holding up where you have pulled over near Brownfield. Nice lightning, hope that severe warned storm does the business for you guys.
Great quality streaming guys, hope it holds up for you and you get the results you are looking for after such a long drive. Will watch again later as things kick off.
Glad you guys arrived okay and sampled the best ribs in the world! Hopefully everyone will arrive on time so you can get to where you need to be for Saturday. It's going to be a crazy few days for sure, all the best.
Maybe the low number of watches and warning have been due to a lack of southerly flow therefore warmth and moisture. I've also seen data that shows that the temperature of the Gulf of Mexico at it's lowest point has little effect on the upcoming tornado season. Let's see what happens this year!
