    Blimey, this is the biggest disagrement with all the models I have ever seen. What the hell is going on? And to think it's 48 hours. I could use pine cones to predict the forecast better than the models.

    GFS is always without doubt the most reliable model. So don't hold your breath.

    Well overall, lowland West Sussex missed out in this snow event (as always). But after a short drive up the downs at 10:30 there was still a bit of the white stuff left (although it was melting very quickly). I wish i'd had my camera earlier in the morning because there was a pretty decent cover.

    In Lowland West Sussex, its just wet snow. 200m up the hills is a different story though!

    Snowfall on the South Downs. I drove there this morning (but i didnt have my cam), I will return with pictures. There has been only wet snow here, so its time to run to the hills!

    I just cant bear to see those lovely, clear old weather symbols to go. I used to love watching the BBC weather forecast but now I dont. The forecast is too plain, unreadable and depressing. Snow ramping will never be the same again with the new system

    Why cant the bbc use graphics like this? So much more easy to read yet visualy attractive

    Ive complained- Your new weather graphics are awfull! I can't understand any of them! The colours are terrible, just everything about the forecast is bad. A true disgrace to the once great BBC Weather service, which used to have the highest standards and great professionalism. And this is what our hard earned money pays for!

    I think I will send a complaint as well. The new weather charts are quite ghastly. Lol The colour schme is terrible, wheres the the green gone? B) . The forecast so far this week has been wrong, those cloud charts are completley useless as well.
