I live in Rugby, actually about 200 metres from one of the locations it touched down. I was in my home and knew nothing about it ! I was walking down the shop at 18.30 and saw the damage, spoke to somebody affected they said it happened around 45 mins earlier. I would estimate 17.30 - 17.45. I am new here having found this great site looking for info on this weather event. It is an ambition of mine to witness a tornado - keep missing them though. Saw one forming over my house few years back - circulation, I heard it touched down on a golf course near Draycote Water out of town. There was another one in 2007 too, do I live in tornado alley? Cant believe I missed this one, just down the road ! Feel sorry for the folks with damage though - they said it came from nowhere, was very sudden.
