My mum tells me that a slight covering of snow lay on the ground for a few hours from 20Z on the 18th November at home in Leavenheath, Suffolk. I don't have any stats on temps, snow depths... but will try to find out when I go home at Christmas.

Latest radar (1600BST) shows a few organised bands of very heavy rainfall aligned with the SW'ly gales including one very potent one stretching from Liverpool to Newcastle. Coupled with gusts of 40 - 50 MPH is making for some appauling conditions in places, whilst here in Berkshire and a few other sheltered places like East Anglia its a fine sunny autumnal late afternoon!
