For some reason I keep getting lightning notifications from the V8 radar even though there isn't any nearby, I've noticed it seems to happen a lot when there's lightning over NE France which seems odd. The rain notifications seem to be working properly though.

Suddenly got windy again here too. Missed all the showers so far though. -
Had some quite heavy rain through the night last night, the heaviest came after the squall passed through rather than during. Dry all day so far although looks like some showers approaching now.

Heavier rain now than when the squall went through. Strangely nothing much on the radar over here.

Lightning east of the IOW just now. Probably not far from where that waterspout was not long ago. -
The squall went through here just now. Had a couple of really strong gusts and just under 5 minutes of heavy rain and maybe a few seconds of hail. Now it's calmed right down.

That's a comfortable temperature to me. Even 1-2°C lower is fine, Does she want to be wearing summer clothes inside or something?

Haven't posted in here for a while but with the mild winter so far it's stayed above 17°C most days even without the heating on. With the heating on it hovers around 21°C.

That won’t help the house warm up. The witch will be complaining it’s cold again before long Meanwhile here the sun is actually warming the house for the first time in who knows how long. Nice to see a bit of blue sky too.

Seems to be ok for me at the moment but has been slow at times over the last few days.

Turned out quite sunny here this afternoon in the end. Only spoilt by the last hour or so when it clouded over. Was hardly wall to wall sunshine but far better than anything of late. The wind never stopped though and it's still very windy out there now.

Mostly dry here so far and nice to finally see a bit of sun today. Could do without the wind though.

A friend near Winchester said the same about their power earlier. Part of the village there lost power completely though while he just had the flickering lights. Second time lately that's happened and both times have been during windy weather.

Well yesterday’s cool(ish) and calm weather is a distant memory today. Really windy here eth the moment and now raining too.

Saw the sun briefly today but nothing of note, otherwise another dull day and this evening it's been raining just for a change. One thing is the sky didn't clear after dark again tonight like it's done regularly lately so at least it's not so frustrating.
