Trying out the reverse psychology thing here but just brought a new outdoors table chairs and parasole, and gardening equipment, all being delivered tomorro, and planning on buying a 12 ft frame pool this weekend, think the beautiful blue skies this past couple of days have gone to my head haha, now I'm looking forward to a day gardening and enjoying the (slightly) warm ish okay maybe cold sun this weekend, so if we get extreme cold and snow soon I'll let you blame me for bringing on sods law...

I can see signs of a convergence line happening to the east of Cheltenham heading towards Northamptonshire. Lets hope it keeps building by the time it reaches Cambs/Lincs.

Thats what I want to know as the storms round here have sort of skirted around me. Im wondering when the Cold front passes through and will it set off storms again.
the storms passed about 30 miles to the north of me seems to always happen here in peterborough, although while its still this horribly muggy, with all the activity around, i can still hope, just hoping someone could give me a heads up pleeeeaaaase xxx

hello all, im new to this forum, but have been lurking around for a while. Was extremily excited about todays prospects, esp given that im in one of the areas expecting some storms.
Was just wondering if there will be anything a bit later for my area, as ive seen nothing at all, (for quite some time ) ive took some amazing pics of the sky but had abso nothing of a thundery or even wet nature here, just horribly humid and sticky.
many thanks in advance

Few grumbles of thunder just passed here with relatively heavy rain, but soon as it passed humidity has shot up, feeling so damn muggy out there now.. really hard to handle whilst dosed up on pain relief, antibiotics and anti inflammatorys for a major abscess... come on sky.. please brew up an amazing storm here to clear the air.. usually love weather like this but struggling to cope currently
