  1. Dark skies to the South here with distant thunder approaching
  2. Half time, few flashes and rumbles here, nothing special but i'll take it
  3. Getting really organised South of here now, can't believe this is clashing with the match
  4. Active and intense looking storm over Ashbourne, moving N over the Peak District, would have been all over that!
  5. Returned home to get ready for the footie, radar looks promising to the South and for many of us elsewhere Keep the pics coming
  6. Ventured out to see what's going on, staying local, dark skies to the South
  7. First signs of some cells firing up around the South Midlands
  8. First time I've been in the thread since mid May, what a boring June that was! Looks like I'm in a reasonably good location today, would have considered chasing into Lincolnshire, but more pressing matters are taking place at 8pm
  9. Absolutely belting little storm here, frequent flashes and loads of IC bolts, and a few extremely loud rumbles Great start to the season and it's still rumbling off to the North
  10. Wow! Just had a massive crack of shotgun thunder!! Shook the house!
  11. Just saw a huge bolt to my SE, flashes getting a little more frequent now
  12. Looks like I missed a trick tonight not heading into the Peak District, only had a few rumbles here and dark skies to the West. Guessing @Supacell has been in the midst of the action?!
  13. Heard a couple of distant rumbles here but the heaviest of the precip has gone either side of us over Sheffield and Derby
  14. A repeat of 2018 please!! In all honesty though, 2019 and 2020 were both very reasonable summers in my eyes and I'd happily take a repeat of those as well. As a total guess, i think we'll see some more extremes this summer, particularly heat and rainfall from Thunderstorms.
  15. Yep, few strikes picked up on the Netweather ATD Suspect it will head just North of me if it survives across the hills
  16. Well, what an utterly boring April that was! Fingers crossed for an active summer ?️ Just watched this little shower bubble up right Infront of my eyes
  17. Very pleasant spring day today, however it must be said, this weather is now getting very boring.
  18. We had a great storm up here on the afternoon of July 19th 2014 Roll on summer!
  19. Managed a low of -8.2 this morning. Lowest I've ever recorded, that is in a slight valley which I suspect is why it's so low, but still a good result!
  20. Well, ended the day with a 1 or 2cm dusting here, very disappointing considering what the models were predicting 24hrs ago. Big respect to anyone that puts their neck on the line and makes a forecast though, as the UK weather has proven time and time again, it is simply unpredictable. On to the next one!
