Eilat, Israel's southernmost city, located at the northern tip of the Red Sea, is usually know for its VERY dry weather: in 2010, Eilat received only 2mm of precipation, and in 2011, only 1 mm!
But, yesterday, Eilat received 16.5 mm in just one hour!
In the last 5 years, the city has only received 15 mm.
