If that’s the case then why did they put it down here in Swansea
That would be your wide margin of error! Unless they are seriously considering that the France stuff could make it over the channel, I doubt it.

yes seems a little generalised,. we can only hope that something forms on the Southern Flank of what started in London
Otherwise we'll be wishing for storms over night ,. with at least a chance of some distant lightningIt seems to me like they have seen what developed over West London earlier, believe it's going to do what is in the image and hastily thrown out a general warning with a wide margin of error.

Big Jet TV reporting from Heathrow and now occasionally concentrating on the London cell as well as planes.

Pitifull storms over uk, what does it take to get a good nightime display of lightning with torrential rain all night. I've seen it happen once must have been around 1992... And I was so young I paid little attentin to it
I thought there was near enough just that last night out West?

Anyone got any pics of that one around the Midlands? Sat view seems to be showing it growing exactly like yesterday.

That formation South of Coventry has popped up in nearly the same place as yesterday and nearly at the same time.

The stronger the cap, the longer you have to wait for initiation. As was the case yesterday, this happened between 6-7pm in general and EURO4 implies 7pm kick off
Indeed. The exact same was being said at this time yesterday. 60-90 minutes later things were popping up all over.

I'm really concentrating on the build up in France - er....not. Daughter and wife have just brought an 8 week kitten home. Can't concentrate on anything now!!
Think of me, watchers...
How insensitive. Couldn't they have waited until Friday?

I still reckon it's got a chance anywhere on the South & Eastern side as the evening and then night approaches. Look at yesterday, aside from the North Wales event and it wasn't until around 6-7pm before anything started and things bubbled up from nowhere. There wasn't as much energy around as today either?

I have a feeling this is going to be a South and east event from today onwards. Just feels like that way.
I'm even moderately excited that something will happen here, probably from 11pm onwards.

Well it is not far from Llandudno
WebCam in Llandudno North Wales | West Shore Beach Cafe
WWW.WESTSHOREBEACHCAFE.COMThis North Wales webcam shows views from the West Shore of Llandudno across to Penmaenmawr, Puffin Island, Angelesey and the south west of the Great Orme. And it looks to be barreling straight towards Penmaenmawr. Now if only that camera would just stay still and point North West.
