    Isn't the stratosphere cooling just a factor in all this? Or does it mean it's impossible to get cold and snow?

    Sorry! It said " still plenty of dry weather, particularly in the South East! But temperatures falling a little below in all parts"

    They are slightly saying something about " below average temperatures in the SE" in the 6-14 day section, but they are buying into the cold November in the 15-30 day section, As usual there are uncertainties In the forecast for this period, however there is a signal for Temperatures to be below average in November for much of the UK. Maybe they don't want to send anyone into panic by saying what they're really seeing? :L

    I apologise for the mistakes, I have to admit I struggle to type on my iPad The charts look good for the end of November, do they show patterns like that every year?

    I'm currently studying them 3 subjects at College along with English, not sure at all what I want to do, although I'd love to lern the basics of forcasting

    I know loads of people ask this, but what were the charts snowing this time last year?

    I've been following this for a while now and built up the courage to make an account. I have no clue what all the charts mean and I would love to learn more about forecasting. I really hope we get a snowy winters this year, I was very disappointed by the mild winter and even when we did get snow, it was light powdery stuff only accumulating to 2-3 cm. Good to see we are heading in the right direction
