It seems like it dosent want to come to birmingham well and truly a snow shield area.

I still think theres a chance of snow, both the ecm and gfs have removed the warm sector just have to hope other factors are on our side

Yh i read that on the mod thread aswell shaky that the 528 damm line is also much further west so that has to give us a better chance u would think.

Gfs coming soon lets hope for good news, and snow tornado i meant the latest chart, and remember i am new to all this but learning all the time, so be patient with me lol regarding all the different charts and so on.

I think by tomoz forecast it will be the extreme east of the country that gets snow and evrewhere else will be pot luck on the day. it just seems that every new chart is drifting more and more east. i hope i am wrong it will be a shame to see some nice snow then a washout

The new revised nae charts push the snow line even more east for the second band, going to make the most from tonites snow, because tomoz all i can see is rain or sleet, are the nae charts normally acurate or could they be wrong.

Looks like alot more ppn on the first band later on the 06z so we could get more than predicted, but on the downside the mild sector is bigger again i so hope it goes once it hits the cold.

So is it a case of the faster it gets here the better chance we will have.

Yep i think the first band will be snow for us all which is good, the second band will be hit and miss, but even at this short range it can change looked at the scottish thread and its snowing when the forecast and nae chart showed rain so theres always hope, it going to be so close.

Yh i love the UKMO model would give us a real chance of some snow, and keeps us in the cold right throughout with plenty of snow chances lets pray that will be the winner lol.

It would have to be a big upgrade Xena some models now have the warm sector even in london, i think we will have to wait until thurs or fri to get significant snow.

Just seen forecast for west mids, snow tonite then turning to rain, damm warm sector

Yep i agree i dont think we will know until its actually falling from the sky the models are changing all the time and cant get a grip on what will happen. it does looks like at the present time we will get more chance of snow towards the end of the week but thats a long way off.

Its a worrying trend on the models that the warm sector is getting more and more significant and is geting pushed further east i mean its even going to be over london area now who looked nailed on for a gd snow fall, what are the chances of the models over doing the warn sector on monday and could on the surface temps and snow cover effect it, i hope so. -
Hi syed it looks slightly more west to me might still be hope well for tonight that is then we get that pesky warm sector on monday which turns it back to rain. whats your take on things.

Hi guys have the latest charts increased our chances for snow its so confusing.

Still snowing in sandwell and just saw latest bbc forecast it shows two bands of snow to affect the midlands from sunday night and into monday

Yh u are proberbly right Ian, but i pray it will shift west theres still time dont loose hope yet.

Yh u are right polar i am in the west midlands, and its not looking gd seems every run its a touch more east we need a big shift west.
