  1. We have rain now but was nice to see, thanks for the info though. Good luck to everyone else
  2. No not all, I am pretty gobsmacked to be honest! Sadly it' s more like sleet now and is not showing signs of settling. We had none at all last year so this is good for my fix though!!!
  3. Still coming down but more grainy now, can anyone with access to radar, models etc... see if we should expect more? Many thanks.
  4. I am extremely excited to report light but large falling snowflakes here in Delabole, North Cornwall )))))
  5. It really depends where you live, I am lucky in that I live a few miles from Cornwall's highest point Roughter and therefore if there is a threat of it, we normally see it here. Apart from last year, I have seen snow here every year since 2008...only a few inches though and 10 miles down the road at Wadebridge they normally have none!
  6. Yes I believe it did snow in Falmouth, the whole of Cornwall was covered. It was Friday 25 November 2005. The met office news archives have an explanation of exactly why we had such a rare and early fall of snow (Cornwall is the least likely place in the UK to see snow) if you feel like looking it up :-)
  7. Morning everyone, I'm in Cornwall and hoping for snow and lots of it!!! I know nothing about forecasting, am just a huge fan of the white stuff! I am fully aware that October is far too early for us but what are peoples thoughts on this winter in Cornwall? :-)
