  1. Amazing sunny day. Couldn't ask for better. Just been over Epping forest with the dogs, actually had to take my jacket off, was warming up good and proper. Wish everyday of winter was like this in between snow events... Hehe :-)
  2. Evening everyone. Reached 14.8c today here in Epping. The sun was beaming from 11:30am but clouded over big time by 2pm. Just had a very quick nose over on the Mod thread - I know I shouldn't. Same old really, plenty of opinions and disagreements with one another. Any cold charts today look to be at +240hrs - funny that - last Tuesday we were being told to look at +240hrs as well. It will be the +240hr chart come December as well.... HA HA :-/
  3. Morning everyone. Currently 5c here and cloudy. Beautiful day yesterday. Apart from light rain later today, this week looks set to be dry and benign with patchy fog developing as the week goes on. Possibly up to 15c tomorrow in the SE if the sun breaks through according to Carol K
  4. Hazy sunny spells poking through the clouds here in Epping! It's stopped raining too. :-)
  5. Aww that's very cute, what breed do you have? My schnauzer is 10 months old and he is fully trained and command trained. Bare with it, I remember puppy class thinking " oh he's never going to get the hang of this" but it does happen. Hope the last class goes well
  6. Yes as a newbie I browsed that thread as a guest for over a year, it's a roller coaster. Members become very stressed. To be honest it's November 10th. I don't even really think about deep cold until mid December. I think I'll stick with the good old SE thread :-)
  7. Morning, Drizzle here and dull. Hopefully clearing off by early afternoon - perhaps lingering in Kent. Tomorrow looks much better with decent sunny spells. I see there is already a lot of wrist slashing going on over on the MOD thread due to Matt Hugos tweet: "No cold for November and it could be a long wait after that" Oh dear...
  8. Beautiful morning so far and the day looks set to follow suit. A crisp chilly 5th November night coming up. Not much rain this week which is nice, gives my lawn a chance to dry out. Happy bonfire night everyone
  9. Hi everyone, This is my first post on net weather so I am just introducing myself. My name is Calvin and I live just outside Epping towards Harlow, Essex. I have been browsing the forum since last winter as a guest and thought I would take the plunge and get registered especially to provide feedback on weather conditions from my location for this coming winter. I have 2 weather favourites which are, SNOW and HEAT WAVES, therefore this is what I will mainly use the forum for. Im not really interested in your standard atlantic deep depressions bringing heavy rain and gale winds, that for me is just the norm and doesn't really get me excited. I probably wont post much unless there is snow or heat, but heres hoping for a very snowy winter 2012/13 and a roasting hot summer 2013. I look forward to reading other members great posts. To all my fellow S'Easteners - Heres to a cracking winter (hopefully) Take care Calvin
