  1. I know some on here seem interested in my unconventional way I use for predicting weather. I am just giving you the date of my next prediction I was given. I was given 3rd March 2007 for something (Very Big) for us here in the UK. If I get any other prediction date for weather sooner than the big event for 3rd March then I will post it when and if i get it. Again it was not so specific as to what kind of weather event this will be. My own feelings on this is that it will tend more towards a very big wintry event. Anyway the prediction is done now and out the way. I also want to say that this site is the best in the UK for weather information and it helps so many to plan ahead with events and precautionary weather warnings that are given from time to time which could actually save lives in severe weather instances. Well done NW for the work that you put in to making this site the best around. I look forward to future features that will be coming soon and long into the future Robert
  2. Not sure if they would give me those to be honest Never actually tried it! QUOTE(robert @ 4 Feb 2007, 05:54 PM) The charts are great so far and it is all coming together nicely. Many more upgrades on the way soon Enjoy the debating of models *passes cookies and hot chocolate around* Robert Suprised youve got any cookies and hot chocolate left, the way you keep passing it round to 200+ net-weather members and visitors. I had extra stock delivered Friday...enough to last a few weeks! Robert

  4. Hi Barry, I think it was slightly different Robert
  5. Thanks Barry,Steve, Paul I will give it some good thought over the coming days before I decide anything about that software. I don't need it for the USA Robert
  6. Hi Paul, Thanks for the reply. Yes I had thought about getting NE Extra and shall be doing  I am pleased you told me the best were Davis as that was the one I was going to go for but was unsure. The other software I mentioned it is very expensive but I am not exactly sure for that price would it be worth it in the long term. It does state: Economical High-End Forecaster Software Contour GRIB Model Data onto Satellite & Nexrad Commercial Web Site Content Generator 24-bit Color with 8-bit Alpha Channel for Smooth Color Blending Runs under Windows 2000 & XP Compatible with NOAA-Port and All NWS/WMO Data Types So I assume I would easily be able to make my own forecasts from the charts. It says it is not based on elaborate programing scripts, designed for the end user not UNIX programmers! So I take it should be quite easy to use? I basically will be using it in conjunction with the unconventional way I forecast! Thanks again for your reply much appreciated. Robert
  7. *passes cookies and hot chocolate around* Great charts and many more upgrades to come !  Robert
  8. Hello, I have been looking around the net for some weather software that will allow me to forecast. I will also use this with my own way of forecasting! I was looking at http://www.martasystems.com/Yosemite/flash/yosemitemain.htm yes I know it is expensive but would it do the job i want and do you think it would be weather newbie friendly! I am also interested in home weather station setup but unsure which is the better to go for Davis etc. Any advice would be appreciated. Robert
  9. Just my daily post * passes around cookies and hot chocolate* Jack frost is about! The charts are looking good and can only get better! Robert
