Rain in Darlo , Not much happening behind this front

Same here mate temp 2.5c but the DP is 1.6c so on the wrongside hopefully that changes soon

2.8c here still too warm

We had loads of rain overnight so its certainly not dry here, actually we currently have a bit of drizzle

Yep agree the ICON is shocking for showers coming inland in a easterly not sure why but surely it needs sorting, same with the arprege it is shocking turning rain to snow

Thats not a good flow for my location, like I said earlier we are sheltered by the NY moors

Gavs just released a snow watch video, might be worth a view, not watched it yet myself

And night time temps of -1c with snow on the ground you might expect it to be colder than that but I suppose the strength of the wind will be a factor

I am sure plenty will make it over to you aswell

Just watched the BBC forecast and on Sunday it showed no snow showers coming in off the north sea. Thats wrong surely

My concern after looking at the fax charts is the flow, we could be protected by the NY moors I've seen that plenty of times. You can see it when looking at the snow cover charts aswell, hope I am wrong

I was expecting some ice days only had 1 this winter but no looking at the BBC Met O etc

What do you mean I thinks its been a brilliant winter had snow beginning of December and Xmas eve, 2nd January was awesome 4 inches of snow then 3 more times through January we had lying snow here in Darlo anyway, I think the 3/4 days is for the south, the amount of times I see the initials SE in the model thread is unbelievable don't bother going in anymore its so south biased. Were abouts in Acklam are you moving too its were I spent all my childhood and adult life untill I moved here 20 years ago when I was 24, I lived on baldoon sands top of Trimdon ave and the Oval, I would move bk in a hearts beat but the wife won't leave Darlington

Its nailed on now you will 100% see settling snow with no melting taking place
