Yea mountain shadow drive through saintfield snd carryduff on way to town and there is quite a bot of snow in those to places. Clearly a bit of elevation has helped them and also not being directly on coast. Was actually snowing in saintfield lightly 10 mins ago driving through. Def more chances through week though it looks like a gradually breakdown of cold Also later.

Looks like the east coast of Ireland and especially Northern Ireland have another very good chance of snow tomorrow avo and eve. Well for me yesterday's snow was brilliant. Still have about 5 inches in my garden though it is melting slightly now. Snowed a tiny bit first thing this morn too. Hopefully all will get involved at some stage

Snow eventually stopped in castlereagh hills. Measured about 6 inches in tr garden! Best snow iv seen since 09. Here's hoping for more Sunday eve! Looking good for its well. Bring it on. So happy. Iv seen brilliant snow today.

Well iv just been driving through saintfield which is Sleeting and it's mostly snow in carryduff.

Well angie on bbc newsline very confident of heavy snow from mid morning until tomorrow so maybe the front will get a move on again. Up to 10cms on low level. My mate at the airport have spoke to met office and they still insist heavy snow from late morning through the eve and night. Min of 10 cms. So I hope they don't get egg on there face

Just seen updated weather on bbc news 24!! Not good news I'm afraid!! rain all over Ireland with wintry mix in the north!! Possible snow later ! Unreal. That's it I'm away to bed. Bbc newsline weather was once again rank!! Wish I had watched national weather as it seems loads better according to mountain shadow as my 4 year old daughter could have put more detail in bara bests forecast! Utter useless by local news! Beginning to think this all may be an overreaction going by his inept forecast!

Unfortunately most people are low lying or near sea level. I'm at about 80 metres and 10 miles from coast so hope i see more than a few cms out of this! Just strange utv say 10cms low lying and bbc say Several Huge difference there.
