Thursday currently looks interesting, according to the 5 day forecast for Bradford on the BBC Weather website...
-
We've had almost everything in the book over the last half-hour - rain, sleet, freezing rain and heavy snow. Last night it was heavy rain and gusty wind and the deep snow cover has almost gone.
Looking forward to a nice sunny day tomorrow.
Likewise. During the heavier stuff we had this morning, the rain turned to snow

When the weather man zoomed in at 9am over SE England there was a blob of white to the north of London.
Any ideas?
That blob looks roughly where the Chilterns are, to me.
-
It's snowing (small grains) fairly heavily here, with a temperature of -0.6c.
-
Been drizzle here all day, which has turned to snow in the last hour, so far a dusting on all lying snow, but snow not settling on surfaces without snow.
It's been snowing here, on and off, all day, but the totals have been very low and it's only settled in those places where snow and ice is still lying.

It was snowing heavily on my way to work, in Idle, yesterday morning, but that had turned to rain, with a slow thaw, by lunchtime. Curiously, the temperature overnight stayed static at 0.3ºc and still is. It's snowing here again - fairly light at the moment, but with heavier bursts every so often.
-
BBC News are saying that Weather Warnings issued by the MetO have been downgraded and talk is now of temperatures rising again.
-
Temperature here is hovering at or around freezing, at the moment, with some cloud cover.
-
Snowing nicely here too for a while, this snow seems to be just sliding diagonally down over us...like a streamer i guess.
That was my first thought, when I looked at the Rain Today Radar.
It's been chucking down here and I'd say we've had a couple more centimetres of snow out of this lot, so far

It's currently 0.5ºc, with 6 inches of snow on the floor and cloud out to the north of us.
-
Snowing quite heavily here too, currently.
(here still being Low Moor, by the way)
-
The wind seems to have picked up in the last half hour or so with snow blowing around Holbeck (Leeds). It's fine powdery snow but the amounts are mounting up with some small drifts now been produced.
The wind seems to have dropped again here - though it was fairly breezy here earlier.
-
The snow seems to have pepped up a bit in the last 5 minutes or so.
-
-
There's 3½ to 4 inches of lying snow here, with more light snow falling and a temperature of 0.4ºc.

cheers mate didnt have a tripod but will do next time i come across a stunning view like that, it was such a beautiful view
Cliche they might be, but I do like sunset images and I love the way you captured that band of pollution(?) on the horizon

Went to the yorkshire wolds today in the thixendale area hope you like them!!! (part 2)
Stunning image

Its snowing here .
Of course, I could be wrong
-
I hope your right. Ive got a feeling they may just skirt south or south west of us like they did the uva night..
The track in Rain Today suggests the clump coming in to our area will pass to the west of Bradford.

It's currently -2.5ºc and almost clear skies - looks like the forecast of -7 might well be correct. Today's maximum has been -0.4ºc, with light snow showers this morning and clearish skies this afternoon.
-
Raintoday showing a rash of showers heading this way, clouds already building to the east and north. Not looking particularly heavy but they have developed fairly quickly.
I noticed that - I'm watching a shower passing through Harrogate, as that looks like it's heading in our direction
-
Last night's low here was -3.7ºc. The BBC are forecasting a low of -7 tonight

We've had a good few centimetres here too. I've got to congratulate Netweather for getting correctly forecasting snow for my area, despite the BBC forecast insisting we wouldn't be getting any
