Got down to -7.c last night.
It got down to -5.6°c here. It's currently -0.3°c and snowing.
-
-5.4c here, winds are now coming from the west, hopefully catch some showers soon.
That's been the low here, tonight. Currently, it's around -4.5°c with what I think may well be some thin high cloud - only the brightest stars are visible, where plenty would be on a completely clear night.
-
That band of cloud is finally clearing away now, so the temp is going to start dropping bigtime
It's the same here, as regards the temperature. Now stands at -5.1°c - I can see it beating Saturday night's low of -5.6°c at this rate
-
Superb images

It's -4.6°c and clear here

When i click on an image it doen't load, well it tries to but i gave up after 2 minutes.
It looks like Fotopic might be having connection issues - the images are loading, but painfully slowly

BLIZZARD !!!
Edit- Huge flakes falling, main roads which just became cleared are now covered!
Not huge flakes, but it's currently chucking it down here, as well - adding to the few centimetres we had accumulating here since lunchtime
Incidentally, my good lady and I went out with our cameras this afternoon - between the showers and she captured some images from the local park you might find interesting: http://dispics.fpic.co.uk/c1794170.html

Wow,the temp is dropping like a stone and it's already down to -3c
The temperature here was hovering at around freezing, when I looked around 5 minutes ago - though it was partly cloudy as well.

Grange Moor, Nr. Emley Moor, have had solid snow since 11.30 this morning and still coming down thick and fast. Nice and crunchy under foot and looks lovely, no sign of stopping either.
I was out with my fiancée, in the local park, during mid-afternoon and tried to photograph Emley Moor, but couldn't see it through all the snowfall
-
Same here, from the radar it looks like a very thin streamer which we just happened to be in the path of. Quite lucky really
I was quite surprised, having seen the forecast and there being no mention of it, to see snow falling here
-
Images taken from the bedroom windows of my house in Low Moor, during the heaviest of the snowfall during mid-morning
It's a sunny -0.9°c, with around 4-5cm of lying snow
-
Might get thundersnow from that baby.
It's possible. Several listeners have been contacting LBC, in London, to report they've seen lightning within the the areas of snow in the south east.
-
Just taken a quick shot of my car
Looks much like my car does, at the moment
-
Just been reading the South East thread. (Ok i'm jealous
I'm listening to LBC and they're getting reports in of lightning - so, I'm jealous too
-
It's -2°c here, in Low Moor, with around an inch of snow on the ground and more being added as I type
-
Currently -1.1°c, with about a ½ inch of snow on the ground and being periodically added to by passing showers - some of which have been heavy.
-
0.7°c and heavy snowfall, here It's only settling on cars at the moment, mind.
-
It's 0.9°c here. We've had a few light showers, with just a dusting of snow on cars and wooden surfaces. Looking forward to seeing more of them later on, after my exam
-
It's 3°c here, too, with very broken cloud.
-
Just as i feared it looks like a non event for north lincs acccording to my local forecast, with the snow much further south just above the wash tomorrow afternoon, with hardly any showers for yorks, lincs
With the threat of more general snow up this way over the weekend Sit tight - we'll all get some of the white stuff
-
It's a drizzly and cloudy 4.2°c, here in Low Moor, with 67% humitity.
-
Leeds and Bradford AP (208 m) 0°
This tallies with what my temperature gauge told me the overnight low had been when I looked this morning (-0.2°c).

Wouldn't take much notice of Metcheck's forecasts. They are based solely on the GFS runs and take very little else into account.
Maybe, but they seem to back up what Darren Bett has said this morning.

We've got a couple of inches on the ground at the moment. The main roads are all clear, but some of the side roads still have some snow and ice on them.
