Had no rain since 1pm so drying up nicely outside ready for the low . temps 2.0 dew 0.1 and slowly dropping.

whould like to see 2 flakes on all them icons lol but im happy with that. -
Surely the amber warning should be lifted? Doesn't look like we will be seeing an awful lot now..
my thoughts exactly George , how can they put an amber warning over our area and only forecast a bit of light snow.

Hi All , still dry here but temps are dropping slowly 2.5 at mo with dew point at 0.9, but pressure rising 1007.8 mb . looking at radar we have been in the dry sandwich bit for to long now.

Well S DEvon has a temp of 0 and dew point of-4 surely this would mean any thing that fell would be snow. Is the temp due to rise significantly or am I , after many sleepless nights, in with a chance of a flake?
im in ashburton s devon i have a temp of -2.4 and a dew of -3.5 rel hum 92

whats going on here then according to this it should be snowing right now , its as dry as a chip outside.

why is it so mild in ashburton my temp is 5.2c and not trending dew is -0,6 will rain at this surely .Indeed it is... getting heavier by the second....

just done what you said and the results were ... will snow in hell before it snows here lol!!!A few are putting up temps and dew points including me.
I'm not a techie so not sure how it works..

where you can input temperature and relative humidity to calculate whether it will snow..
but I was looking for one where you could input temp and dew point to calculate the same. (as I dont have a measure for relative humidity)
Someone put me right on this subject - and if you have a link to such a site please provide

I don't get it if we are in amber warning in Devon why are local forecasts saying rain , I'm in ashburton just below dart moor at 93m will I see snow and for how long

Just watched the bbc weather on tv for Friday it shows rain in the whole sw with temps of 5c not good

Hi snow lovers just checked my met office app on iphone for Ashburton Devon and it as changed to SNOW from 09.00 to 21.00 on friday with HEAVY SNOW between 12.00 and 18.00 80% chance / winds SE ...Just hope it stays that way , come on bring it on....
