Really weird had nothing last night and there was loads on the radar, hardly anything on the radar this morning heavy snow lol!
-
Got the heaviest snow i've had all of the cold spell this morning.
-
bit of snizzle here
-
I was right under it on the radar, started snowing, then the snow shield came up can actually see it on the radar!
-
It does seem to be moving slow, hopefuly the temps will drop in time!
-
Might just get a bit more snow in the west of the region. Fingers crossed!

Have had about 3cm here from 9 hours of fine snow, for a while slipped out of the snow line on the radar though the snow never stopped, but now back under it and the snow has picked up again very happy!

NAE 18z accumulations for tomo
Looks quite good for most of the region

That is so true. My husband's taught me to test the road surface when I start out by braking sharply and see what happens. As our ungritted lanes around here are about as bad as it gets, anywhere else should be safer.
Sensible advice
-
People are so stupid, witnessed 2 bumper to bumper crashes so far out of my office window, there's not that much snow on the road, but people are just flying down at 30-40pm as usual and leaving no space, sigh.
Yep the roads are more at risk of being blocked by idiots not snow!
-
My word just had a mad drive home. Roads bad but passable if you drive sensible, nutters everywhere on the main roads.. Got to the country roads and nearly got stuck because of people abandoning their cars, pretty much had to fight through people trying to stop you getting through!! All I wanted was to get home. Thankfully I did.
The snow is beautiful though, so happy now got a couple of inches
-
Hows Bucks doing?
Pretty good this side, couple of inches so far and still snowing
-
My work really need to send us all home it's virtually a blizzard here!! Think I'm gonna have to walk out, but then I don't get paid! !
-
Snow really picking up here now!
-
Snow seems to be steadily getting heavier here and haven't got the intense bit shown on the radar near yet, wind picking up too.
-
Got pretty heavy snow at my work. Probably should have stayed home, roads were so empty think a lot of other people did!
-
guys im in high wycombe lightest snow ever now will i get anything soon ...someome enlighten me please
There is heavier stuff about to the north west but it keeps losing intensity a bit before it reaches you or me unfortunately!
Edit: Like Ben says tomo looks good though.
-
Yep sorry, updated now.
To be fair it always gets me that one, it says 18z and unless you really check each time slot it catches you out!
-
Just seen NAE 18z PPN accumilation, looks similar to NAE 12z up to midday on Saturday - 5-9mm accumilating for the region by midday Saturday
Says it's still calculating on weather online
-
Have done better out of the bonus snow today than the Monday snow. I hope the blobs start playing ball for you lot in the east of the region soon.

I need to calm myself down before I drive home from work, starting to feel giddy all this anticipation!
