I don't know if the Jamstec LRF has been posted in this thread but their latest update is going for a below average Dec-Feb and also a below average for Mar-May. This was the best I could contribute to you guys not the best but a contribution nonetheless.

Didn't know where else I could put this, but Jamstec's November update isn't very encouraging.

Jamstec's November update isn't very encouraging. Put quite a damper on really.

Thank you. I will use this for educational purposes.
The GFS run with precipitation charts - the white hatched lines indicate snow. This is too far ahead to be of any use as a forecast but you can follow to see how it changes.

The low res part of the run is a good example of how quickly Europe can cool down with the right synoptic set up.

18Z GFS showing so many blobs on snow risk from 200+
First time I have seen it this year, won't come off of course but it has made me smile to see it!
Please could you link me to the model?

Does anyone here use the Jamstec model? Is it known to be reliable at all?
I like the look of a couple of their models.

I'm looking forward to an estofex tonight, if there isn't one, then I will be disappointed. Do they do forecasts for this type of weather?
-
Netweather have forecast my location in Essex with thunderstorms tomorrow afterrnoon with heavy rain. But yet there are no mention of thunderstorms in any of the weather warnings I have read, why is this?
-
Any chance of an estofex being issued later tonight?
-
