    Not masses of snow here considering it started at 7 but enough for me to get excited ... just hope we can hang on to snow for a bit longer before the rain sets in

    One lane blocked on M6 northbound between J35 A601(M) Carnforth and J36, A590 (Kirkby Lonsdale), because of snow. ... just incase anyones coming up this way

    turned to rain here now, although not really washing the snow we had away just turning it icy .... there are cars sliding all over ... really glad i dont have to drive in this! Stay safe people !

    coming down heavy again here ... fight going on between the kids taking snow off the cars and the snow putting it back on lol

    snowing really well now and everything is covered!! Daughters birthday wish granted ! however watching a car slide up the road im thinking the gritters may have needed to come here lol

    snow here looks wet tho ... only reason i know its snow is things are turning white so it looks as tho for the first time this winter we may have some snow lay

    I really hope it does snow (and stick) even for a little bit here tomorrow just because its my daughters birthday and she loves snow ... however i won't be holding my breath lol

    No apologies needed We had an Ok covering in 2010 which shut the local school for a day (mainly because hardly any of the teaching staff live local) but my kids sure as heck don't get as many snow days as i used to and that wasn't many lol

    I'm in Lancaster and theres no snow here ... even tho it snowed for 3 hours outside just looks as tho its rained with the odd sleet shower thrown on the cars Tho im guessing theres snow on the hills here but none actually IN lancaster if you know what i mean

    Finally after about 3 hours of snow it looks as though it may be attempting to stick! Really hope this carries on for a bit but knowing my luck ...

    Ok this is depressing ... we have snow/ sleet now and nothing is sticking ... think im just gonna go hibernate until spring

    Finally snowing here ... quite light but seems to be coming down at a reasonable rate and its attempting to stick !! Have also lost my view of Clougha Pike which i think has been eating all my snow! Hopefully I might get a bit of snow on the ground from this as the kids (and me ) are sick of seeing snow on the tv but none here.

    There is nothing here It tried around midnight and looks like it might be trying again now but to be honest it just looks as though its rained, so the snowless winter continues here
