The magic word for next week is 'Potential'. Anticipate snow, but don't fall for the trap of 'expecting' it.
Right now the rain seems to be turningto sleet and snow as per the radar.
Winds picked up as well.

Horrendous rain here and so, so dark! Feel sorry for all the school run kids and parents.

BBC breakfast weather says there will be isolated showers in my area this morning. I loom oh of the window and it's chucking it down.

I feel sorry for the Severn Bridge half marathon runners today. Torrential rain and strong winds. At least they won't get overheated!

We are off to Iceland for our summer holidays. It would be torture to go into the Med this year!

We've had almost two hours of heavy rain with thunder and lighting and some hail. Only 15c but humid.

First early potatoes are coming on nicely. Planted them before Easter and they did take over 4 weeks to show.
Sunny but very windy at the moment, taking the edge off temperatures of 12c.

Such a miserable morning. Thick fog and only 12c. Shows no signs of thinning before noon.

Another dull misty morning, but today I'm planting some salad seeds. That is guaranteed to make the sun come out!

I'm amazed that the frog tadpoles in our pond have hatched. But the water is so cold they are hardly moving.
The smooth newts are loving all the free food!

Beast 3 or not. My chitted potatoes are going in the ground!
We're off to North Wales over Easter, but our pet sitter hates driving in the snow.
Thinking of calling off the trip if it gets that bad.

Roads, pavements and my car are being recovered with snow.
Wonder if the schools will have to reconsider opening in the morning?

The MAD thread are trying to write off winter already. But I think nature has more surprises for us.
