New warnings update for Sunday and Monday. Maybe we will get some snow this winter after all!

Don't post in here often but just realised we're under yellow warning for snow today which appears to come out of nowhere! Also new warnings have been added so we're under a warning everyday this week including a triple threat tomorrow.
-
Light snow/sleet/hail now in Stratford.
-
That front seems to me like its moving far more south west then it's supposed to, probably driven by wishful thinking more than facts but I've got a good feeling about this one for us.
-
Question for all you experts - there seems to be a load of PPN growing on the west coast of Ireland, is that what were expecting tomorrow? As it seems it will get here quicker and be heavier than forecast?
-
Definite heavy sleet here in Evesham, AT 2.2 DP -0.
-
Very very windy and showery here in Stratford Upon Avon at the mo. Wasn't expecting it TBH as the forecast haven't really said much.

Radar is looking good! 96mm/hr in places! Come to papa.
-
Is that band meant to be so narrow? or will it stall and intensify?
It's definitely narrowed this morning. Fingers crossed it intensifies back again.
-
I'm still really new to this but what's that forming over the west of Ireland on the radar? Surely that's far too early for this front coming in? And wouldn't it very quickly turn to snow considering the cold temps tonight?
-
It looks like the MetO have updated some of the warnings to amber recently, doesn't affect me yet but it's good to see some potential of some heavy snow!
-
If December 2010 was the Olympics then this has been a infant school sports day!
And January 2010 was much, much, much, much better than this pathetic pretend cold spell.
In Evesham .....
Completely agree, it's been very disappointing and frustrating at times. Also annoying when little rissington is only 19 miles away but led the nation with 30cm yesterday.
-
Getting heavier in Evesham, best snow we've had for the last few weeks and its proper snow not that granular rubbish we kept on having.
-
Yellow warning from MetO for snow for us just added also amber slightly south as well - somebody push it up north east slight by about 50 miles please.

Why on earth do I keep checking the radar to see how the showers are doing over Wales when I know full well that they won't make it over the mountains! Stop it Gordon!
Will I ever learn!
Only once have I seen it happen...the evening of the 17th December 2010...which then developed into something far greater.
Well we're getting a very small amount of snow here from PPN that made it over the Welsh mountains!
-
Well here in Evesham it's been snowing since 9am but thawing at the same time and this orange thing in the sky keeps trying ti poke it's head out! Hoping for it to cool a bit tonight and hhopefully get some heavier flurries.
-
Light snow grains here, looks promising as really need a good top up as half our snow from friday has melted. Keeping my fingers crossed that next Saturdays forcast turns to snow - 30mm of rain!!! (yeah I know it wont happen)
-
Finally settling properly here in Evesham, quite disappointed when I got up at 0730, about half a cm now. Looking forward to a LOT more!
-
Looking at the radar there seems to be something developing over the Manchester area - do you think that might carry on and make its way further south to the south midlands?
-
In Stratford Upon Avon today and the earlier rain has turned to sleet - just need that tiny bit more!
-
Met office have updated their weather warnings looking a bit better for me (Evesham). We'll see what happens. Also metweather are predicting 10 cm of snow-sleet-snow tomorrow.

Light snow here, by the railway station. We could get a cm here if it carries on like this -by July.
