    Radar shows rain/sleet but it has been snowing lightly for the past hour here

    just as I wrote my last post it's started to snow quite heavily, here's to hoping we all wake up to several centimetres of snow

    It's been really hot and humid here in north Wales today, any chance of thunder this afternoon/night?

    It's settled here now, roads and pavements are white and its still coming down thick and fast!

    Really heavy now, this is amazing, heaviest snow I've seen for around 2 years!

    It's snowing! YAY! Moderately too. It's only just begun and the ground is wet so it's not sticking yet.

    I really hope we get some snow here, only half an hour away from the 'sweet spot' but at only 5m asl and to the west we always seem to miss out totally clear here atm, no precipitation at all.

    Looking at the snow accumulations from GFS on weatheronline, it does look quite good for the whole of north Wales, but this is just a small picture of what could happen.

    There is never any detailed info on north Wales, most of the time when someone is talking about weather in Wales they mean the south. I'm really hoping we get some this time though, I'd be happy with just an inch or two of lying snow!
