Sorry everybody ive jinxed everything............I just ordered a sledge for my son........really sorry
-
I see the model forum has descended to equivalent of two blokes on the street shouting 'leave it Dave, hes not worth it' despite some really impressive models, if not quite as stellar as previously. Get the cold in first!!!

I sorta of stopped looking earlier in the week when first the Tuesday potential and then the Thursday potential disappeared wheres this Friday and Sunday stuff come from seems an interesting turn of events?
-
Slightly disappointed after going to bed with it snowing heavily to have woken up to find its turned to rain/sleet and some has clearly melted leaving at most an inch on coldest surfaces
-
nice steady moderate to heavy snow for last hour here good covering already covered wet surface very quickly
-
The morning after the day before.........reckon we topped up to a total of 7-8 inches here and as I can work from home its amusing to see other struggle off their drives this morning, our road does not look like fun,
My parents over in Halesowen reckon they had a foot of snow and its the most me mom can remember falling.
Truly a memorable snow event
-
Snowing heavier again, although not heavy, covered me car again after id cleaned it off lol

-
I thought it had stopped here but still going too though its very fine its persistent
-

Gusty ..
I am about 5 miles further north than you and I was recording increasing temps, but they are now falling again here,
Remember that the greater the risk ,the greater the reward could be.
Have you got any wind there yet?
MIA

Starting to believe now...?
Temperature at 0.2C and falling quickly, after a max at 3.0C.
Dew point down at -2.2C.
The rain has now reached Cornwall ahead of the warm front.
Keep the faith. Currently we are just about in the sweet spot, where the front pivots and turns south again.
I have seen varying figures of from 5cms to 25cmds for us.
MIA
ive literally got everything crossed

I think the phrase rhymes with ‘clucking bell’ still early days though

I feel fairly confident that Midlands will see snow next week too early to think depth though lets get to Sunday night first
