    Lol, I know. After gowing up in the 80's I seem to remember being knee deep in snow, don't know how true that is though, and of course I was smaller;0)

    I agree and everythings really quiet, not as much traffic. Nothing here for a while now, don't know whether we'll get anymore tonight.

    Hi John, I was referring to the Met Office website, I often visit your website to find out temp, dewpoints etc as you are quite close to my area:0)

    As long as I don't have to go to work I don't mind. Not bad to say we weren't included in any warnings;-)

    My husband has to go to Sheffield tomorrow, I wonder how long it will take him to get there, the roads were terrible here today. In Auckley, your pics look very similar to what is outsiide my house;0)

    It stopped here about half an hour ago after snowing solidly since 7.30 this morning. Its just started again. The roads are treacherous, schools were shut today and I was sent home from work. Looks like another day off tomorrow? Fingers crossed.

    Thing is, we got almost 15cm's today and we weren't even mentioned. I think they have a Red warning because its the south;0)

    I wouldn't take any notice of that, we are hardly ever mentioned on Met Office warnings but we did really well today:0)

    Lucky you! We haven't got to a cm yet I hope the snow stays til the morning so your kids get to play in it. Mine might get a snowball out of it:)

    Snow just starting to pick up here in Doncaster, If it keeps going like this we may get a decent accumulation after all, not before time too!!!!

    Hi Brian, Temp is 0.4 and dewpoint is -0.8. Its been snowing lightly here for the past 3 hours and we're lucky if we have half a centimetre!

    Not great here, still snowing but nothing to write home about, we haven't even got a cm yet.

    Me too, I don't see any harm in it. Especially like has already been said, he gets it a lot closer than the so called "professionals".
