yes, and the same time the hourly forecast has rain and sleet in it..However, i recognize the fact that the symbols are raw inputs straight from computers..anyway nowcast begins in 3 hours or more..we will see what we get
-
Because it is just into North-West England at the moment lol
Hehe!
-
Its getting darker here in canary wharf, clouds are moving into! Why do i have a feeling it will start earlier in London area?
-
Just know bbc london forecast: maybe sleet for the centre of the capital but some centimeters around it. Hence, lets all wait to see rain and if we see snow we will be happier..
-
Yellow warning includes london as well..However, hourly forecasts for london are rain and then sleet before it all becomes rain. That clearly shows little belief from the Metoffice's standpoint that it will snow in london..Isn't that a bit contradictory? Uncertainty and again uncertainty
-
Latest from 12z GFS: Less cold at the 850 temps, but slightly colder temperature and more precipitation...I really do not have a clue about tomorrow..
-
The funniest thing is to see the warning and at the same time the hourly forecast for London shows rain for 09:00pm and sleet for late with temperatures at 3 degrees. I still think it is a nowcast event..

Exactly, it seems that the models are not predicting snow for us tomorrow night, however there are on a marginal side guys. It depends how fast the atlantic air is stepping in..I dont know if the BBC uses out of date data but it would be really outrageous if they all change it later to a rain/sleet event..What concerns me also is that the metoffice has responded on my tweet rain/sleet or snow..
-
Response of metoffice on twitter: Dry for most of the day tmr and then some possibility of rain, sleet or snow...I would add some clouds, stars and sky as well! Lets wait and see cause from their response, they dont seem to be certain on the outcome..
-
Lets be optimistic and hope! Yes, fingers and toes crossed!
-
Hopefully we get it!!Fingers crossed!!
-
I would be happy with 2-5cm, I dont want 20cm!

Good Morning guys! Do u more experienced think London central can get something from tomorrow's last visit?
Thanks!!
-
It seems we gain some intensity now in Canary Wharf...
-
Same in Canary Wharf..Light snow but it does not seem to have intensity...
-
I'm in London near Crystal Palace and met office say light snow 6pm to midnight for me.
I was checking for the city of London as I am based at Canary Wharf and the forecast is just cloudy! Lets see if they are proved to be right..hopefully wrong!

Hi guys! Good evening all! Met office hourly forecast has nothing for London area..Is that right or wrong? Or that falls within the area of uncertainty? What do u more experienced think of it?
-
I would advise phoning just before you leave to check on the status of your flight. Still probably no garentee things will change but at least you won't leave home for nothing if it is already cancalled.
Thanks a lot! Thats what I am going to do..i love snow but when it comes to go holidays and you have everything pre-paid..it can be a problem!!

Good afternoon all ladies and gents! I have a flight tomorrow booked for 14:00 from Gatwick? With the latest info we all have do u think it is possible to go ahead??
-
Still snowing in Canary Wharf but not as heavy as before! However, looking at the metoffice's hourly forecasts that change continuously the last hours I believe there is a lot of uncertainty on what is going to happen in the late afternoon/evening..it can be anything for the Greater London
