Here is the toll booth at Beuzeville, south of Le Harve: http://www.viewsurf.com/univers/trafic/vue/3242-france-haute-normandie-beuzeville-a13-peage-de-beuzeville-pres-de-la-bifurcation-vers-le-havre-vue-orientee-vers-le-havreAnyone got any snow reports from northern France around Cherbourg, snow depths over a foot?
(I've seen traffic moving away from the camera on the right side)

Absolutely nothing to report on the Berks/Hants border except for the biting winds.
So, so, so, so, so glad we had our fence repaired last week!
-
Friend in Reading says it's snowing now - nothing on radar, and nothing 5 miles SW, where I am!
-
Finally starting to settle after 2 hours!
-
It's been snowing quite hard since around 9.30 - but not settling at all. In fact the snow on my car from the pre-dawn dusting continues to melt. Thanks GTLTW . Sleet now in Chichester as I type.. I see Tadley though has a bit?
-
Coming down thick and fast now, but struggling to settle on the grass
-
Correct, our overnight dusting has already melted and the new snow is not settling.Following on from the reports from Tadley above, which lies roughly to my Southeast. I agree that there is quite a bit more SNOW showing up on the radar right now, although I don't see it causing too much concern on the roads. It may well settle on stationary car roofs and grass verges though.

Snowing quite hard in Tadley (Hants/Berks border) - looks like a streamer coming off the channel from West Sussex/Hants?
-
Still peeing with rain on the Hants/West Berks border - temp still +4
Losing faith rapidly!
-
Coming down nicely and consistently in West Berks. Everything refreshed on the ground
-
9cm in Tadley/Hants and still coming down.
Very, very powdery snow - useless for trying to make a snowman but gusting around wonderfully in the garden.
-
About 8cm now in Tadley (Hants/W Berks border) - roads have ground to a halt.
-
Heard from a friend in Air Traffic Control - Heathrow down to 1 runway with 40 mins delays.

Wasn't that the Dec 21st (Monday) streamer that brought Reading and Basingstoke to an utter standstill?Does anyone remember when the south coast central area got the Red Warning a few years back? Does anyone remember the circumstances around that, and why it was predicted to be so bad? (albeit it was downgraded to an amber within an hour or so)

I'm between Newbury and Bracknell and we've had some flurries leading to a very thin covering...gottolovethisweather... what is it doing in newbury now? I'm not too far from you so i am always curious to see what is hitting you as, often, we get it soon after.
A friend between myself and Newbury says it's chucking it down with snow
