    Yea ha our thread is busy again!!! Just drove home along ashington spine road , its like a monsoon!!! Thunder lightning high winds and torrential rain! Gonna go walk the dog in it now !! Happy days

    northumberland is escaping any form of wet and wild weather this autumn isnt it! been a very calm dry few weeks while the rest of the country talks of unsettled conditions! not me!

    I don't get the 15min radar!! So the last few hours have shown a lot of yellow coming over me and zero rain has fallen Radar has it as pretty much passed now and guess what ! It's teeming down!! Go figure!! Lol I have also noticed how quiet it has gone in here since the snow events have past. Does know one get exited about heavy rain then?? I must be odd!!

    Just drove from Newcastle back to morpeth North Newcastle has very little snow when I left an hour ago. One you pass morpeth it's a lot heavier Roads are bad ( had to tow merc up a hill) and got home to find approx 3 inches yay

    Woke up to a fresh covering this morning about an inch.

    Update from ulgham northumberland. Still bleaching down wet sleet very windy nothing lying in fact last lost about 3 inches off the ground from Fridays event. Roads are clear back roads slushy mess. Will be treacherous if it does freeze tonight

    Just north east of morpeth (ulgham) here, 4 miles in shore Wet sleet very windy we had 10cm on ground from fri but now almost gone!!

    Yep I saw a huge flash as I was driving past morpeth approx 10.pm ish I think

    There was !! I was driving on a1 past morpeth and saw it!! A1 is completly covered and I guess there is over 4 inches around morpeth. It's stopped now though but we had a good few hours of intense snow.

    still hammering it down in morpeth area! ive gotta go out and pick up better half from work in newcastle at 10. looking foward to getting out in it!
