  1. Assuming you got the same forecast as me then it seems snow is forecast to be light until midnight (logical as the precipitation peps up from the east) but then what is weird is that from 06:00 we are forecast 9 hours of heavy snow with an 80% chance. Where will this come from!

Indeed, radar shows Hull to York eastward under very heavy snow. I'm pleased to say that i called this earlier and with dew points rising on the coast there is good evidence of an increasing easterly element pushing the heavier precipitation further inland.

Hope we gets some heavier stuff here nth lincoln??

  2. I am sure it will, todays snow in the west was from a very weak feature that developed, tomorrows snow is coming from a much more active front. How far east is gets is open to debate but both ITV and BBC have the snow covering our entire region by tomorrow evening. I also believe due to the strength of the SE wind snow showers could easily develop over the North Sea and spread quite far in land too.

Been watching the models etc looks like i should see some snow late afternoon onwards, bit of a downgrade from yesterdays forecast but all may change again tomorrow and usually does.

  3. It's very rare for me to do a negative post, but after today's near miss i think tomorrow will be the same and all the action will be just to the west, leaving this area bone dry again.Thankfully i got a good snow event on monday and still got snow cover but i can't see much snow making it as far east as my location tomorrow. No point looking much further ahead as things are changing all the time.

The same here seems to be just west of me. not moved east on radar at all much. Hope tomorrow the snow gets further east.
