My altitude about 5 miles from Watnall seems to be favouring me as it's been mostly snow here. Probably accumulated about 1-2cm already.

Heavy snow (small flakes) coming down still. Heavier stuff definitely appears to be moving in from the east

Id say the potential is there for something similar to Friday. Of course there will be those who get lucky and get more and those who get less
is the band of " snow " expected to travel more north from its current position in south east as it seems to be pivoting westerly ? Im approx 8 miles NW of Nottingham centre and checking the radar paths doesnt look to be expecting much activity ? ............. Hoping it intensifies and not pivot too far west !

According to bbc weather for ng16 it is showing as only light snow this afternoon after previously having 6 hours of heavy snow !!!!!!
Has it really changed path that much in last few hours ?

Just checked Metoffice forecast and now been changed from heavy snow to just light snow .............. Not looking that good now then for Nottingham , NG16 region

I may be reading this wrong but is the band of snow moving more west than first suggested ?? Doesnt seem to be on direct route into Nottinghamshire ............ Ant thoughts ?

BBC weather keep changing forecast every hour for Nottingham ( Ng16 ) , now back to light snow for next few hours after previously having heavy snow , currently light sleet !!!
