Had snow shower early this morning - about 5am - still bits on cars that are in the shade! Waiting (im)patiently for the reel stuff to arrive!

Have had two brief snow grain showers - 10.00am and 13.50pm. Just enough to dampen the ground!

Snow shower gone now, left slight covering on cars, garden. Temp dipped to 0c.

Slight resmblence of last years thunder/snow event - without the thunder. The precipitation band has become more orgainsed into a band as it has moved south. Slushy covering at moment on cars!!

heavy ice pellets, hail, sleety stuff from quite a big shower - its trying to snow it really is! Is snow now!!!

Temp 4.5c - has been for 2hrs, pressure slightly higher than earlier today. Was hoping the temp was going to be a bit lower considering the wind direction and the clearness of the sky! Still, fingers crossed for the morning!!!

Ended up with about a cm on cars and grass, a bit slushy on pavements. Gritters have been through village, which is a surprise cause they dont usually bother! Still, could be dangerous out there tomorrow morning. Thank you weather for an interesting evening and goodnight! zzzzzzzz

Incredible!!!! Temp dropped almost 1c in an hour. Now hovering around 2c. Just cloudy now.

3.5 c, big drops of rain with odd sleety bit, not particularly heavy. Pressure 1023 A bit breezier than it has been so far today. Temps need to drop a bit further yet!!!

Really windy, mild - 9c. Its actually stunning outside in the sky at the moment! Extremely fast moving sporadic clouds moving past a 2/3rds brightly shining moon, with glimpses of stars. Have a look! Ah!

Finally!!! A sprinkling of snow, early this morning nr Marlborough, Wiltshire earlier this morning. Clear skies for a couple of hours afterwards so very icy now. First snow of the New Year!!!! -
Temperaure in now -2c and it has just started to spit with rain. This could be really bad going to work! Temp over night fell to -6c here last night. Really dark clouds moving in on a brisk sw wind. Is anyone else experiencing this?
